Shoot me I'm famous !
As you may know last week took place in Cannes the movie festival...5km from home, what could be better ??
So every day with JB, we decided to go there and to try to shoot some famous starrrrrs, here is the collection !!!
First day first try...well maybe a little bit overcrowded ! Let's do better tomorrow ! ;-)

There were 2 strategic places to see all stars: the red stairs (far far away) OR the end of the show : "Le grand Journal".

Back from San Remo !
Sooo hard to start again writing this blog ! In Canada I could have written 10 pages every day and now I have to fight hardly to make an entry ! I just hope my english which is probably getting worse and worse is not the main reason....
Anyway I have to tell everything about my poker week end !!! Yessss for those who still didn't know I won online a seat for the Campus Poker Master Final in San Remo, where all the best students-poker-players wanted to win part of the "30.000 euros-and-a-car of prize pool !!!
San Remo Casino is probably the most beautiful one I've ever seen, and I felt like a real pro during these days ;-) :

The tournament was over for me, but I just played one more hand for fun with some others already out of the tournament...and for the picture ;-)
Just before the paid structure...electric atmoshpere...
And even if one week after I'm still so angry of this tournament, I have to tell you how it worked for me ! ;-)
My table was really much harder than what I thought it would be, and there were just 2 guys who seemed to be bad players...so I decided to wait and I try to trap one of them. So I just played one hand during the first round, and everything changes right after the beginning of the second one (45 minutes after the beginning of the tournament) I had 10-10, I raised and one of the bad player calls me. Then the flop is As-10-4, so I am more than happy by this flop, I bet...the guy raised...so I raised all in and he called me with As-Queen which is...really bad played from him.
Then turn : Jack and river : King for an unbelievable straight for the bad guy....soooo sick !!!
We started at 2000 chips and I just had 130 chips left after just 45 minutes...I thought I was already dead, but I succeeded to stay alive in the tournament during....7 more hours !! :-)
I reached to mutilply my stack by 40, but I was finally out at 10:45 pm, 47th out of 175 which is not really bad, after how everything started...I am still angry at this ***** hand which would have changed everything for my tournament...rrrrrrr
Anyway that was a really nice experience and I'm ready to do that again at any time ! :-) And the good point is that you might see me on TV next June, but I'll tell you when and where when I know it ;-)

3 months later
Time definitely goes too quickly ! I'm sorry for all the people who still came to see my blog from time to time, but HERE I AM AGAIN ! I'll try to add an entry on my blog each week, so everyone can see how my life in the French Riviera is going ! ;-)
What I can already tell you is that it's already summer time here, with lots of tourists ! :-)
See you early next week for pictures about my San Remo trip of this week end, and for those you don't know why....you have to wait one more time..... ;-)

Why I will not stop this english blog...
Do you really think that I could let this blog die after all I wrote on it ! NO WAY !!! I just have a huge problem: I still don't have internet at home, and I'm not sure that my boss will like to see me typing a post at work ! ;-)
But don't worry, now my body is used to eat a lot of macflurries at MacDonalds to have an internet connexions during weekends ! ;-)
And another reason not to stop my blog is just summarized by the screenshot below :
Statistics from the last 100 accesses to my blog: people from France, Austria, Sweden, Canada, Germany, United-States, Spain Belgium...INTERNATIONAL BLOG !!! YEAAAAAAAAAAAA !!
It's really pleaseant to see that I still have some connexions left after being back from Calgary ! ;-)

My A.W.E.S.O.M.E new flat !
Everyone knows that I'll go to Nice for sure for my 5 months internship (at least...), so the week-end mission was to find a flat !
Starting point on thursday in Villevieux, meeting point with JB (my future roomate !!) in Grenoble for a very looong night until 3:30 a.m.....and then LET'S GO SOUTH for 6 hours !!! (I wanted to go East but he didn't want to...;-))
Then we had to visit 7 different flats all around Sofia Antipolis where we will work...and finally at 2p.m WE SAW IT ! The perfect flat ! Completely renovated, a nice terrace, 5 minutes far from the sea...what else ??? ;-)
It's hard to describe it, sooooo let's see the pictures that JB took (of course I brought my camera there but forgot it in my car...;-):
1°) Living room WITH an opened kitchen !
2°) Terrace WITH a nice garden downtown ! ;-)
3°) EL CORRIDOR:
4°) OUR FUTURE BEDROOMS:
5°) THE BATHROOM...WoOoW !
6°) Even the toilets look great ! ;-)
7°) Finally and probably the most important : THE WASHING MACHINE ! (don't worry we even have some housework machines so Petra won't feel alone there...;-)
Of course the only problem is that it's quite expensive, but we thought it would worth it !!! So EVERYBODY is invited to visit us and HAS TO come !!! We already have so positive answers, but it's never too much we'll always have some space for you !! ;-)
@COUZZZZ': Simple conseil : Fais vite pour acheter le paréo, les tongs et le maillot de bain !!! ;-)

The reason why I win playing poker...
This week I won again more than 100$, and a lot of people think that it's only because I'm lucky...ABSOLUTELY NOT !!! I just use some tricks when I don't like my cards...just take a look:

In this way it's very easy to win !!! :D

Piano Song !!!
I'LL GO IN NICE FOR SURE !!! Wooow after more than 2 never-ended weeks I've been hired by Amadeus, a huge company where I really wanted to go !
And as I promised, a piano song has been played in live to celebrate it ! But I think that it's better if everyone can hear it ! ;-) Sooo this is the song called To Zanarkland:

I've lost since more than 3 weeks a very old woman (around 24...;-) with short blond hair and brown eyes. I saw her for the last time the 22nd of December at 4 a.m in a red van driven by Katrin in front of Cascade Hall, Calgary, Alberta, CANADA.

Am I going to have this ******* interview ???!!!?? (bis)
Marseille just lost its important soccer match, I'm very angry so I don't want to go to sleep now...let's write one more post !!! ;-)
But the problem is that I have to wait at home to have my second phone interview...so stupid and sooooooooo long !!! I would even say that IT WAS BORING (yes it's hard to admit...how is it possible to a 'connection member' to I say that ??? ;-)
And second problem, even if I have my internship in Nice, I won't be able to celebrate it because I don't know how to open a bottle properly ! Let's take a look :
OMG first (and last) try at the 2 Alps...shame on me ! ;-)
Ooo and I forgot to mention that I've given some Maths and Physics tutorings to a neighbour almost every day since the 26th of December ! Yessssss I'm nearly a TA now !!!
